Doctor's Hospital of Laredo and Laredo Physicians Group are actively recruiting a skilled Pathologist to join our established, high-volume medical center in Laredo, Texas. Quick Facts* Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-employed physician position* Schedule / Hours: Standard hospital pathology schedule* Call: As required for pathology coverage* Patient Volume: High-volume acute care facility with growing demand for diagnostic pathology services* Location: Laredo, Texas (America's largest inland port city)* Practice Setting: Established pathology department at a 183-bed acute care facility with state-of-the-art pathology laboratory* Support / Care Team: Collaborative pathology group with expanding team, laboratory technologists, and support staff

* EMR / Technology: Cerner EMR with advanced clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory equipment

Responsibilities* Provide comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology services to a diverse patient population* Collaborate with the pathology group, clinicians, and laboratory staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic services* Participate in diagnostic evaluations, reporting, and quality assurance activities* Document findings and maintain accurate records within the hospital's EMR system

Qualifications* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology* Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure* Spanish language skills beneficial but not required
