NorDx, the clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory partner of MaineHealth, is hiring Medical Technologists (MT/MLS) and Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) to support our growing laboratory operations across Maine. Position Summary
The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician performs laboratory testing in a high-volume clinical laboratory environment, ensuring accurate and timely results that support diagnosis and treatment. Positions are available across multiple laboratory disciplines and shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and complex laboratory testing according to established procedures
Prepare, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers
Review, interpret, and verify test results for accuracy and quality
Follow CLIA, CAP, and safety standards at all times
Collaborate with laboratory leadership, pathologists, and clinical partners
Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Medical Technologist / MLS
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
ASCP or equivalent certification preferred (or eligible)
Medical Laboratory Technician / MLT
Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
ASCP or equivalent certification preferred (or eligible)
Additional Requirements
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab environment

Multiple shifts available (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions
