Inspira Health, the region’s leading network of healthcare providers, is seeking a Per Diem Medical Sonographer to join our Ultrasound team in Mullica Hill, NJ. In this role, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by a licensed physician, nurse practitioner, or midwife, following established clinical practices and procedures. This position offers a varied shift schedule and a competitive hourly rate of $53.41, varies based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate data acquisition for interpretation
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records and adhere to established protocols, safety standards, and best practices in ultrasound technology
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care and outcomes
Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety during procedures
Qualifications:
Completion of an approved Ultrasound Program required
Previous experience in Ultrasound Technology preferred
BLS certification required; ARDMS/RVT required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
