DescriptionThe Department of Medicine is seeking a Staff Research Associate 1 to join a dynamic research team focused on investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying metabolic dysfunction and insulin resistance. This position involves in vivo rodent research, including the maintenance of a genetically engineered mouse colony, murine tissue dissection, and the isolation and analysis of DNA, RNA, and proteins. Responsibilities also include performing qRT-PCR, immunoblotting, and supporting rodent exercise studies. In addition, the role will contribute to overall laboratory operations, including organization, maintenance, and ensuring a well-functioning research environment.
