Job Description:

• $5,000.00 sign on (1-year commitment) - To qualified candidates

• $1,500.00 relocation - To qualified candidates

• Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday overnight position from 7p-7:30a

• Performs routine and complex ultrasound studies, assisting with various imaging procedures. 

• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contract terms to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Consistently obtains high-quality scans in relation to patient body habitus and NPO prep status.

• Follows proper exam protocols as outlined in the department Policy and Procedure manual.

• Utilizes two patient identifiers to confirm patient/exam accuracy before administering the exam.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be able to perform a full range of diagnostic echocardiogram and / or vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Must be able to operate all ultrasound systems in the assigned department and utilize the measurement package for measuring and calculating to determine anatomy, function, and status according to standard of care.
• Must be able to recognize significant anatomical structures, artifacts, pathology.
• Ability to effectively communicate and explain procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner.
• Basic EKG Knowledge.

• Fetal Echo Registry preferred

Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) [Required] OR
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required]
