Job Description Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor, the Diener assists with autopsies, including preparation, support during procedures, and cleanup. Handles and maintains human remains before and after examination, ensuring proper care and compliance with protocols. Patient Preparation: Retrieves and transports decedents to the autopsy suite, verifies identity, prepares bodies for examination, sets up autopsy tables with instruments, and assists with photographing bodies and identifying features.
