OverviewPerforms routine and specialized laboratory tests and other procedures for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Utilizes requisite equipment, instruments, and computer systems. Evaluates and reports patient results using considerable independent judgment within the scope of established testing methods. Performs quality control procedures and contributes to the maintenance of the laboratory, equipment, and supplies. Assists in the development and implementation of new procedures, instrumentation.
