Registered Vascular Technologist provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures according to established policy and procedure.  Uses independent judgement and systematic problem solving methods to produce high quality diagnostic information and optimal patient care as well as other assigned duties as assigned by the Noninvasive Manager or Lead Technologist. Performs all required ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. Assists with the daily operations of the vascular laboratory and training staff as needed. Maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of competence under the supervision of the Noninvasive Manager.  Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images. Manages assigned work schedule to ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.  Demonstrates ability to correlate the clinical history with the requested test to be performed and communicates and documents findings based on standard guidelines. Assists with accreditation requirements and submission of accreditation application.
