Phlebotomy Technician
ChristianaCare is recruiting for a Phlebotomy Technician to work full time at the Union Hospital out patient sites. This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Every third Saturday required. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will perform venipunctures and capillary punctures to obtain blood for testing. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs successful venipuncture, micro-procedure and bleeding times using established procedures on adult and pediatric patients Performs successful heel sticks, using established procedures, on neonates and infants Follows established procedures for proper identification of patients, greeting all patients in a courteous manner introducing self
