Purpose Statement / Position SummaryThe Point of Care Testing (POCT) Coordinator will establish, implement and coordinate on going activities of the Point of Care Testing program. The POCT coordinator will work with the Laboratory Manager, section supervisor and Nursing Education to evaluate, implement and assure the ongoing quality program of POCT at OCMMC. The POCT coordinator will assume responsibility of special projects for accreditation and assist in the development of programs and procedure to assure the department is aligned with community standards.
