Lead Medical Instrument Technician (Gastroenterology)
This position is under Medical service for VA Central California Health Care System. The incumbent serves as Lead Medical Instrument Technician (GI Lab), GS-0649-08. In this capacity, the employee is responsible to provide specialized technical support to the total scope of operation needed to operate the Gastroenterology(GI) Laboratory. Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: The incumbent operates highly complex equipment that requires knowledge and proficiency to operate and maintain in optimum working order.
