Post Doctoral Fellow - Cell Biology
The Sampson Lab in the Dept. of Cell Biology is actively seeking a motivated and scientifically passionate candidate to join as a post-doctoral fellow. Our lab is focused on understanding the molecular contributions of the gut microbiome to neurological disease and injury. In particular, we are looking for a candidate with interest in exploring newly identified interactions between the gut microbiome, environmental toxicants, and Parkinsons disease. The candidate will use multidisciplinary molecular and computational approaches, in the context of gnotobiotic animal models, to tease apart contributing factors (immunologic, metabolic) to neurodegeneration.
