Laboratory Technologist
GENERAL STATEMENT (Summary of Duties and Responsibilities) The laboratory technologists are responsible to perform and analyze the results of complex scientific tests on blood and bodily fluids in a high complexity testing lab. The Laboratory Technologist is responsible to and works under the direction of the Laboratory Technical Supervisor/Manager and Director of Laboratory Services. He/She is responsible for performing laboratory testing (serology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, point-of-care and molecular NAT testing on donor, proficiency, environmental, employee, and reference lab samples.
