Lead Medical Technician- Phlebotomist
Serves as a Lead Medical Technician- Phlebotomist in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at Kansas City VA Medical Center under direct supervision of the Supervisory Medical Technologist. They independently perform duties involving phlebotomy techniques for both in and outpatients; accessioning specimens; performing other procedures necessary for appropriate specimen receipt. Provides technical oversight for approximately 5 employees on days, evenings, or nights as assigned. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 08/14/2024. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date
