The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology is seeking a Director of Infectious Diseases Serology and Mycology Laboratories (MD, PhD, or equivalent) at Mayo Clinic Florida. The Laboratory serves a growing practice, including strong Transplant, Oncology, and other specialty programs.Qualified candidates will be able to support all sub disciplines of Microbiology. Experience or expertise in total laboratory automation, molecular diagnostics (including next generation sequencing), laboratory-developed testing (LDT), BSL-3 laboratory operations, and process improvement is preferred but not required.
