OverviewThis position supports the technical laboratory staff under the general supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Team Lead. Clinical Lab Assist (CLA) will process specimens, route specimens to the appropriate laboratory department for analysis, differentiate tests currently on file, and will become familiar with the patient and specimen requirements for these tests. This includes responsibility for pre and post aspects of analytical testing. This position will also perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
