Medical Technologist (Advance Staff Technologist) will be assigned duties in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation and Blood Bank at the VA Southern Nevada Health Care System Clinical Laboratories that perform more complex laboratory functions such as laboratory safety officer, analyzer specialist, or quality control file maintenance. Assists in writing procedures, documents and oversight of the clinical training experiences of technologist or technician training programs. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
