Transfusion Technical Specialist- 1st Shift- $10k Sign-on Incentive
Primary Purpose Works closely with laboratory leadership to coordinate a wide variety of technical activities ensuring efficient operations. Responsible for planning and developing new techniques/methods, technical guidance, and staff training. Serves as a technical expert to troubleshoot and provide guidance for transfusion reactions, antibody identification, and donor compatibility testing. Coordinates with blood suppliers to ensure availability of rare antigen-negative blood products. Responsibilities 1. Coordinate documentation and training associated with the implementation of new/revised SOPs, forms, and job aids when there are changes to equipment, reagents and methods. 2.
