Summary Histology Technologist performs histological procedures for the Pathology Department by cutting, staining, and mounting of tissue specimens to provide data on the nature of disease or cause of death. Exercises independent judgement and responsibility with minimum supervision by the respective Supervisor and Laboratory Director.Histology Technologist is responsible for all Pathology billing functions. Histology Technologist performs and fulfills all HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) responsibilities as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency disaster.
