ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECH REG - (POOL/Rotating shift) Performs various echocardiography studies on patients under the direction of a Cardiologist, Supervisor and/or Lead Technologist. Gathers and documents appropriate data and reports probable findings to appropriate physicians. Maintains certification/registration with approved credentialing agencies. Conducts and assists with the interpretation of various types of echocardiograms including 2-D, 3-D, m-mode, doppler, transesophageal and stress echo. Prepares and instructs the patient, performs the study to obtain maximum quality results, cleans and maintains proper functioning of equipment, enters patient data in computer systems.
