Registered Respiratory Therapist
RRTs at this grade level work independently providing respiratory care in both inpatient and/or outpatient settings. The specific assignments are dependent on facility structure and complexity levels. The incumbent demonstrates the knowledge and ability to successfully perform the full performance level assignment at the GS-11 level. A Respiratory Therapist may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below.
