DescriptionThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials. Working under the supervision of a licensed authorized user or designee, this role supports patient care across all age groups by safely and effectively applying radionuclides for imaging and treatment. Key responsibilities include interviewing and preparing patients, performing quality control and calibration of radiopharmaceuticals, administering compounds, conducting imaging and therapeutic procedures, processing images, and performing related lab tests.
