Job Description Under the direct supervision of the Pathology Supervisor, the Clinical Laboratory Specialist (CLS) performs a full range of technical activities primarily supporting Histotechnologist and/or Cytotechnologist duties and processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing laboratory specimens for testing and analysis, including accessioning of surgical and cytology specimens, preparation and distribution of pathological slides for diagnostic procedures, and maintenance of pathology laboratory equipment. General Responsibilities: Performs instrument set-up.
