Job Description Performs medical laboratory testing in a CLIA-certified laboratory. This position is responsible for the accuracy, timely reporting and integrity of laboratory results. Qualified to assess competency of MLS and MLT personnel after one year of experience. Shift: 11 hour shifts, 5/4 schedule. Hours are 2000-0730 OR 2130-0900.Has working knowledge of and performs testing in accordance with laboratory's policy, procedures and regulatory standards. Successful performance in laboratory's external proficiency program. Organizes and performs multiple technical tasks with maximum efficiency and minimal waste. Reports laboratory results in the Hospital LIS/EMR, as ordered by providers.
