Radiation Therapist - PRN
Overview This is a PRN Radiation Therapist position located at North Hospital. The position will be utilized for team coverage as needed. Responsible for applying ionizing radiation to patients for therapeutic purposes in accordance with the prescription and instruction of a radiation oncologist. Controls the exact amount of radiation to be administered locally, and reproduces treatment fields, insuring that exposure is made only to prescribed areas. Requires high levels of quality control, safety, treatment planning and administration, patient care, and patient scheduling.
