Job DescriptionOverview Under direct supervision from anatomical pathology management, performs all aspects of routine histology to prepare patient tissue samples for the Pathologist to perform microscopic examination to render a diagnosis. Key Responsibilities Processes surgical specimens by loading, unloading and programming the tissue processors. Embeds tissue samples according to department specific protocols with proper orientation. Prepares quality slides following departmental microtomy protocols.
