DescriptionUnder the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Staff Research Associate I supports research on mitochondrial DNA mutations by conducting experiments, developing and characterizing transgenic mouse models, and assisting with mouse colony management. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed lab records, managing lab supplies and purchases, and ensuring compliance with lab safety protocols.  The ideal candidate brings experience in DNA isolation techniques, digital and quantitative PCR, and basic mouse handling, with the adaptability and resourcefulness to support evolving research needs. Salary: $26.52 - $31.63/hour
