Overview This position assists in the examination and treatment of patients with bradyarrhythmias and tachyarrhythmias using cardiac device therapy. Performs interrogation and transtelephonic monitoring of pacemakers and defibrillators. Performs device testing and stimulation to ensure proper functionality. Notifies the provider of abnormalities in device function, patient compliance issues, arrhythmia, and may make recommendations about additions and changes to medication regiments or device programming. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide an excellent patient experience.
