DescriptionAs a team member of the Phlebotomy Float Pool, you will be assigned to assist various ambulatory sites, such as Ronald Reagan Hospital and Santa Monica Hospital.  Duties include:•Perform phlebotomy on inpatients and outpatients for all ages•Triage all lab samples and requests after verification of appropriate information•Centrifuge, measure and aliquot and/or preserve •Enter and verify patient and test info into computer•Generate computer labels for specimens and deliver to appropriate areas•Prepare samples for transport to referral labs or storage •Prepare written reports to document phlebotomy draws, test results, test added, or deleted/reject
