OverviewThe Clinical Services Technician collects pathology specimens at free standing Ambulatory Care Centers. Responsible for the registration, processing, and allocation of laboratory specimens and orders from all sources. Responsible for verification of proper patient/specimen identification, appropriateness of specimen and accompanying orders. Organizes laboratory workflow and appropriately prioritizes processing and preparation of specimens for transport. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment, proper PAR levels of supplies, while remaining fiscally responsible to the organization.
