The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join us on the night shift at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill, located in Mullica Hill, NJ. Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability and critical limits
Calibrate laboratory instrumentation, complete preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions and evaluate new equipment and techniques
Perform, evaluate and record quality control and institute corrective actions
Take part in proficiency sample testing
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public
Qualifications:
Bachelor of science in medical technology or related field; or high school graduate with 50-week military training as medical lab specialist; or graduate of an approved medical laboratory or clinical laboratory training program
1 to 3 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred
MLT (ASCP) or ability to obtain within 12 months
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
