DescriptionThe Department of Medicine is seeking to hire a Staff Research Associate I. We are in search of a diligent and dynamic candidate to be a valuable member of our research team, dedicated to studying the molecular mechanisms associated with metabolic dysfunction and insulin resistance. This role involves conducting in vivo rodent research, including the upkeep of a genetically engineered mouse colony, dissection of murine tissues, isolation of DNA, RNA, and proteins, performing q RT-PCR, processing immunoblots, and participating in rodent exercise training. Additionally, assistance with the organization and maintenance of the laboratory is a crucial aspect of this position.
