Scheduled Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly Work Shift: Day shift: 8 hours per day
Position Overview: This role involves the analysis and interpretation of cellular changes related to disease processes. The position requires preparing cell samples for microscopic examination by creating smears and staining slides. You will conduct a microscopic examination of the slides to detect cellular abnormalities and compile initial findings, which will be submitted to the Pathologist for a final diagnosis.
This is an enterprise-wide role, and flexibility will be required to support work assignments across multiple departments or locations, including the Mountain View and Los Gatos campuses, or any locations within a 15-mile radius of the main facility.

Salary Range: $69.33 - $90.34 per hour
Physical Requirements: This role is classified as light work, requiring the ability to walk or stand for up to 49% of the shift. Standard movement is required, and occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be necessary.
Minimum of two (2) years University and above course work. 2. Completion of Cytology curriculum in an ASCP approved School of Cytotechnology. 3. Valid State of California license for cytotechnologists.4. Five (5) years experience as a cytotechnologist. 5. Successful completion of CLIA '88 Proficiency Testing.
