The role of the Respiratory Coordinator will be to provide clinical direction of staff, responsibility of day to day operation, maintain and review quality improvement, act as liaison between the Respiratory Department and other patient care services. Oversees, performs and maintains the daily function and staffing of the Pulmonary Function Laboratory. Oversees, performs and maintains daily function of the Arterial Blood Gas Laboratory. Further responsibility will include review of scheduling to maintain adequate staffing, including granting of scheduled time off. In addition the Coordinator will assist the Clinical Manager with new program implementation and cost effectiveness of all departmental operations.RESPONSIBILITIESCLINICAL EXPERTISE
