OverviewThe Clinical Services Technician collects specimens on all age populations as assigned with minimal patient impact and/or responsible for the processing and allocation of laboratory specimens and orders from all sources. Responsible for verification of proper patient/specimen identification, appropriateness of specimen and accompanying orders. Organizes laboratory work flow and appropriately prioritizes processing and distribution of specimens. Utilizes requisite equipment, instruments, and computer systems to test request, accession, correctly label and deliver specimens to appropriate laboratory sections within acceptable time frames.
