The SAVACS is recruiting for a Medical Technologist in Microbiology to support the PALMS Service. A Medical Technologist at this level carries out the day-to-day operations in the lab. This includes routine testing, quality control, routine maintenance of instrumentation and troubleshooting. The Medical Technologist develops, performs, evaluates, interprets, correlates and validates the accuracy of laboratory procedures and results ensuring all laboratory regulatory requirements are met. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
