Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Cytologist (Part Time) for the Cytology Department at our Atlantic Consolidated Laboratory in Morristown, NJ to include variable weekends. Performs specimen preparation and analysis Participates in the FNA biopsy service including rapid on-site assessment to evaluate specimen adequacy Documents the slide interpretation results of both GYN and Non-GYN cytology cases Documents the number of slides read and the number of hours spent examining slides in each 24-hour period Recognizes and resolves any specimen related problems or inconsistencies Participates in Quality Assurance and Quality Control: performs and documents daily QC according to established laboratory protocol
