Core Lab/Generalist - Available Shifts:
Full Time Day Shift: M-F 7AM-3:30PM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd holiday
Full Time Evening Shift: M-F 2:30PM-11:00PM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd holiday
Full Time Night Shift: M-F 10:30PM-7AM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd holiday
Part Time Night Shift: M-F 10:30PM-7AM; Every 3rd weekend & every 3rd holiday
The ideal candidate will:
Responsible for obtaining or receiving specimens.
Performs clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures.
Understands method principles.
Performs quality control and preventive maintenance.
Interprets results accurately, acceptably and within critical limits.
Works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines.
Validates all data obtained.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science - OR - Bachelor's in some other field of study AND completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program - OR - MT-HEW certification will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

In Fiscal Year 2023, the lab performed 8.5 million tests (including Chemistry, Cytology, Flow Cytometry, Hematology, Coagulation, Histology, Microbiology, Point of Care Testing, Transfusion Services and Urinalysis), 122,751 Anatomical Pathology tests, and 404,139 combined inpatient & outpatient phlebotomy draws. The department consists of over 200 medical laboratory professionals.
