Performs clinical testing in at least two of the following departments: Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, or Microbiology. Staff who work second or third shifts must be competent in all areas mentioned above. Receives specimens, performs clinical testing, understands method principles, performs quality controls and instrument maintenance, and interprets results as to accuracy, acceptability and critical limits. Education Bachelors Degree. Licensure/Certification Nationally recognized clinical laboratory science certification, credentials or equivalent within 12 months of hire required.
