Position Summary: The technologist will be the point person for daily operations within the surgical pathology laboratory.  Daily decisions are required regarding workload, providing customer service assistance to internal and external parties, handling immediate human resource issues, and meeting the needs of the department’s anatomic pathologists and residents for diagnostic requests and research projects.  A good working knowledge of gross anatomy, histology and immunohistochemistry is desirable.  Previous grossing experience is also desirable.  Exceptional record keeping skills, and organizational abilities are required to document reagent testing and validity, parallel study analysis between methods, qual
