Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2025 Global Internship Program as a Research & Development - Molecular Intern in Durham, North Carolina!

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. In addition to department work, we support your professional development and career exploration through program workshops, leadership speakers, employee resource group introductions, new hire panel discussions and small group "coffee chats".

Job summary:

Performs technical and non-technical protocols in an entry level capacity according to established procedures. Gains knowledge of department specific procedures and operations.

General Laboratory

• Operates general lab equipment and instruments in order to perform assigned duties
• Maintains adequate stock of working supplies, notifies supervisor of shortage
• Perform minor instrument troubleshooting and report any irregularities in operation to supervisor
• Adheres to lab policies and protocols
• Adheres to the laboratory?s safety policies and protocols
• Adheres to the laboratory?s quality control policies and protocols
• Shows a high level of respect for all lab personnel, Supervisor and Directors
• Shows willingness to perform duties until they are complete
• Attends all required meetings and represents laboratory in a professional manner

• Participates in required Continuing Education activities
