Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
  
• Certification by the American Board of Medical Dosimetry or CMD eligible
  
• 3 years of full time dosimetry experience
  
• Knowledgeable in the operation of radiotherapy equipment, including linear accelerators, cobalt teletherapy units, simulators, osimetric equipment, brachytherapy equipment, computerized treatment planning systems, and record and verification/patient information management systems.
  
• Proficient in external beam and brachytherapy treatment planning.
  
• Ability to perform and analyze in-vivo and in-phantom measurements.
  
• Knowledgeable of current radiotherapy treatment techniques.
  
• Ability to assess and plot radiation dose distributions.
  
• Skill in providing treatment planning and dose-calculation services for patient treatment and diagnosis with external, interstitial, intracavitary, and distributed internal sources.
  
• Knowledge of the principles of radiation safety and Health Physics.
  
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics.• Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within the context of radiotherapy.
  
• Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
