Serves as a Lead Medical Technician- Phlebotomist in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at Kansas City VA Medical Center under direct supervision of the Supervisory Medical Technologist. They independently perform duties involving phlebotomy techniques for both in and outpatients; accessioning specimens; performing other procedures necessary for appropriate specimen receipt. Provides technical oversight for approximately 5 employees on days, evenings, or nights as assigned.
