Lab assistant position:Responsibilities include pulling urine or other specimens for analysis then aliquoting them at the volumes required for accurate testing.  These specimens are stored in refrigerated or freezer storage.  Extensive time is spent in these walk-in units to pull specimens so staff must dress accordingly.   Also, verifying specimens to be tested in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure.  We are looking for candidates who can be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.  This job also includes other administrative duties as assigned by supervisor.LabCorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team in RTP, NC.  This role works in a high volume, production based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.
