This opportunity is full-time early first shift hours.

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Status: Full-time

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 6 am to 2:30 pm but may vary

Base Salary: $38.13 to $58.00 hourly D.O.E. and negotiable

10k Sign-on Bonus

In this role, you will:

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process through examining prepared slides with the microscope to detect evidence of abnormalities
• Use diagnostic codes report negative cases and refers abnormal cases to the pathologists for review
• Keep records of work performed on daily basis
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

• Bachelors of Science Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Graduated from an Accredited School of Cytotechnology Program or other organization approved by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• Cytotechnologist certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
