Physician Scientist serving as the Deputy Associate Chief of Staff (DACOS) for the Research and Development (R&D) service line of VA Puget Sound Healthcare System. The DACOS for R&D fully shares with the ACOS the direction of all phases of the R&D program and work. As part of the R&D management team under the supervision of the ACOS, the DACOS formulates the goals and objectives of the research program for the facility.
