Summary   The Ultrasound Technologist operates ultrasound equipment to make quality images for patients of all ages in areas related to OB/GYN. This individual will be able to perform ultrasound procedures with knowledge of anatomical positioning and physiology. Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed. Patient care is accomplished in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner. The ultrasound technologist must be able to think and act independently. Good oral and written communication skills are required.
