The function of the Medical Instrument Technician (Anesthesia) assigned to VAMC Orlando is to perform logistical and technical support to anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists assigned to the facility. They maintain anesthesiology supplies and equipment, set-up anesthetizing locations and operate, monitor, and collect data from anesthesia related equipment. Also performs equipment preventive maintenance/repair. Incumbent's prior experience working in an Anesthesia Department and/or Intensive Care Units as a Medical Instrument Technician is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
