The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine in conjunction with IU Health Physicians, is seeking a neuropathologist with strong diagnostic skills to join our team.  This individual will be based at the IU Health Central Pathology Laboratory (IUHPL) located in downtown Indianapolis.  The Pathology team serves 10 hospitals within the IU Health Network, Eskenazi Health and Roudebush VA Medical Center.  

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional diagnostic services within neuropathology
  • Provide on-call coverage and conference support with department faculty members
  • Actively participate in educational activities with medical students, residents, and fellows, including 1-2 neuropathology 
  • Broad range of specimens: robust adult and pediatric neuropathology, muscle and nerve biopsies, ophthalmic and autopsy pathology

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship trained in neuropathology, Board Certified with 3 years of experience
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of IN
  • MD, DO or equivalent education
