Logan Regional Medical Center has a current need for a full-time Phlebotomist to perform the following duties:

• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.
• Assist other staff members in various healthcare duties related to blood work.

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
• Graduate of a Program in Phlebotomy.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Certified in Phlebotomy or in process of taking certification.

Required Skills

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
